Join Kaskad’s official fundraising round

First Stop: November 17 to December 17, 2025
Problem statement
We lack a competitive and compliant lending protocol to really bootstrap Kaspa DeFi and attract participants from other existing chains.

While Kaspa now supports smart contracts and a growing user base, it still lacks a secure, sustainable lending layer that inhabits Kaspa’s ethos while allowing $KAS holders to put their assets to use, without selling them. In simple terms:
Our solution
With Kaskad, we are building the first high-quality, compliant, and competitive lending layer for the Kaspa ecosystem, designed for real scalability and long-term growth.
Smart contracts: built for Kaspa’s upcoming L2 on Igra mainnet with a target to expand to L1 when technically possible.
Compliance-first framework:  regulated legal entity, governance separation, AML/CTF considerations, and modular KYC for early investors.
Efficient UX/UI: smooth onboarding for both DeFi-savvy users and newcomers from the Web2/TradFi worlds.
Competitive yields via a tokenomic design tailored for TVL growth: targeting 8–12% APY (emissions), complemented by Protocol Incentives and Protocol Cash Flow allocations resulting from on-chain governance by [voters].
A full R&D Department targeting Kaskad’s key core component: a novel Oracle design. Led by Eliott Mea and built by Paul Colagrande, introducing a new model that functions as a global limit order book and arbitrage simulator to improve liquidation safety. In the long run, Kaskad ambitions to introduce a completely novel Oracle model where honest price reporting will be the best provable incentive.

Kaskad aims to become the backbone of decentralized finance on Kaspa: a protocol built for performance and shaped by its community of participants
Kaskad is not a speculative project. It is a long-term infrastructure designed to support thousands of users and generate a new economy on Kaspa.
Why Invest in Kaskad ?
We are building the first truly compliant and competitive lending and borrowing protocol on Kaspa, with a mission to make access to decentralized liquidity simple, fast, and transparent, allowing users to borrow without selling their $KAS, while creating value for Kaskad token holders.
Investing in $KSKD means:
Seizing an early-stage opportunity (+100% upside from TGE), in a project with strong long-term potential
Gaining access to a true utility and governance asset at the core of the Kaskad economy.
Taking part in the growth of the leading financial protocol on Kaspa.

Fundraising set up & opportunities

The lending market now exceeds 78 billion dollars in total value locked (TVL), with  stablecoins and bluechip assets showing stronger signs of adoption. Within this lending market, the strongest and most reliable platforms manage to thrive because they provide truly useful services for their users, and operate as real business entities that generate real revenue for the services they deliver.
Kaskad aims to bring this proven model to Kaspa and help it express its inner growth potential.
We propose our supporters to partake in this adventure and help pioneer the final development of Kaskad, with a communities-only first round, and a second round later in our development phase, open to everyone.
The complete details of our fundraising (use of proceeds, emission schedule, token distribution, etc..) can be found in our dedicated Tokenomic Page.

Why this setup?
Because Kaspa is nothing without its community, we strongly believe it should be no exception for Kaskad. And since we’ll be providing a complete governance layer for our active users, we are convinced it is healthier for this governance to be represented by a majority of individuals, rather than a minority of VCs.

At the heart of Kaskad lies the $KSKD token, a token that keeps everything connected. It helps align the people who use the platform, those who take part in governance, and those who contribute over the long term.

Kaskad runs on an epoch-based system, which means all on-chain activity: supplying, borrowing, and voting are measured over time.

This makes participation fully transparent and ensures that everyone’s contribution is recognized fairly.

Here’s how it works in simple terms:
Governance
Voters can take part in decisions that shape the protocol directly on-chain.
Participation Incentives
TVL Participants can claim allocations based on their verifiable on-chain activity within the protocol, such as supplying / borrowing assets or voting.
Treasury Flows
Every action on Kaskad feeds into two treasuries: one managed by the DAO (65%) and another by the team for operations and maintenance (35%). Both treasuries are separated immutably at the contract level.
Milestones
When the protocol reaches key growth threshold such as substantial increase in TVL or adoption metrics (after being challenged), a dedicated monitoring system triggers a Milestone Incentives Pool. This pool allocates a pre-determined budget to the DAO Treasury Pool, and its final allocation between active participants & early supporters is then decided by voters.
Supply
The total supply is fixed at 1 billion Kaskad tokens, with transparent allocations for community, contributors, team, advisors, liquidity, and incentives.
In short, the $KSKD token connects growth with real participation, helping Kaskad stay transparent, balanced, and participation-driven from the start.
Kaskad Performance Simulator & Business Model
Kaskad generates protocol fees from lending activity on the platform. These fees are split between the DAO Treasury and the Operational Treasury, supporting long-term sustainability, governance, and continued development. To help users understand how fee dynamics evolve as the platform grows, we provide a simple simulator that uses real DeFi market data from DefiLlama to illustrate how different activity levels could translate into protocol fee flows over time.

You can explore the Kaskad Dynamics Simulator to adjust rankings (based on TVL ranges) and see how fees are allocated between both treasuries, and how Kaskad [voters] can adjust the incentive allocations via on-chain governance. These figures are illustrative and based on real market benchmarks, but they are not a guarantee of future performance whatsoever.
